Tarff Town and Country

Tarff town and country have now been open for almost three years and has a good reputation for our customer service along with the good food that our cafe provides. The cafe uses local suppliers for their meat, eggs, haggis and bacon.

In the shop we sell local fresh free range and organic eggs. We stock an excellent range from the Galloway Honey Farm - jams, honey and chutneys. We also stock border biscuits, shortbread and chocolate gingers, fruit biscuits and a selection of mixed tins.

Tarff also host the Dumfries Farmers Market, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month. This creates extra excitement to our usual friendly atmosphere making it an enjoyable day for all.

You will also find Black & Gold in our shop. This product is cold pressed rapeseed oil and is produced by Stevenson Main Farm, East Lothian. Can be used in salad dressings, cooking and one can even bake lovely chocolate cakes.

Come, have a look at our wide range of gifts, from yankee candle, jamie oliver dinner services, arthur price cutlery, vases and mugs, key rings and ornamental sheep, cows and pigs.

We have a varied range of clothing from Jack Murphy, Hoggs of Fife, Regatta and Alice Collins. Along with a wide, reasonably priced selection of Hunter wellies in a variety of colours, Greta muck boots ideal for walking the dogs.
