Savour the Flavours Food Fortnight on South West Sound FM

1-14 September

In conjunction with Savour the Flavours, South West Sound FM will hosting a fortnight of programmes, interviews and features dedicated to quality local food and drink – Savour the Flavours Food Fortnight.

Among the tasty line up will be in-studio food demonstrations, interviews with nationally prominent chefs and foodies, exploring the Dumfries & Galloway food trail, interviews with local producers, chefs and enthusiasts, whisky tasting, slow food and lots more. South West Sound FM will also keep local people up to date on special food and drink events and activities across Dumfries & Galloway during Scottish Food Fortnight.

Feast of Galloway

Kirroughtree Visitor Centre

The third Feast of Galloway takes place at Kirroughtree Visitor Centre near Newton Stewart in November. The two day event gets better every year! Organised by Savour the Flavours and Forestry Commission Scotland, Feast of Galloway will once again let local people sample, buy and find out more about the food on offer, direct from the producer.
