membership / how to join

Criteria for Membership

1) Be located in the Dumfries & Galloway region
2) Produce a food to a quality that would enhance the reputation of the region
3) Be registered with environmental Health Office and have a declared clean bill of health.
4) Be prepared to present your last EHO report for inspection.

Criteria for Associate Membership

1) Be a user of Dumfries and Galloway regionally produced food.
2) Use at least 5 locally produced foods regularly
3) Be willing and able to prove purchase and use – making invoices and or delivery notes available for inspection.
4) Promote the use of local foods on menu and other publicity material.
5) Be registered with environmental Health Office and have a declared clean bill of health.
6) Be prepared to present your last EHO report for inspection.
7) Present a typical menu and proposals of how local food will be promoted.
